IIT Kanpur has always encouraged independent thinking and innovation!!
Last year some of the plays that performed and won, were Kanjoos, Bang, Bang You're Dead, Alice In wonderland, Holi, etc. Even though all the plays performed were based on scripts, they still had a huge amount of innovation, and basically awesome-ness, that left one completely dumbfounded.
Again, this year there is no time limit, so bring all the drama you can on to the stage, and walk away with cool prize money.
Highlights this year:
This has been one of the most sought after competitions in Antaragni. This year the competition will have both Hindi, English and Bi-lingual plays.
Another major attraction this year is that the Screening Committee of Yuva Thespo a dramatics festival organized annually in Mumbai will be assessing the plays in Antaragni this year and if they like they will pick few for the same. THE IMPORTANT CONSTRAINT IS THAT FOR THESPO THE PLAY SHOULD BE LONGER THAN ONE HOUR. Even for the Play Competition there is no time limit so we encourage you to make plays of duration more than 1 hour.

Level of Competition
Last year the competition saw more than 25 plays from Delhi, Lucknow, Agra, Allahabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bhopal. This year also we are expecting around 35-40 teams (30 plays have already been registered)

10k, 5k, 3k and a chance to perform at Thespo..
