Geet - Light Indian Music
Solo Vocal Competition
Criterion - Any movie, album, self-composed song or a ghazal. Please refrain from performing semi-classical music pieces such as Dadra, Thumri, Kajri, etc.
Time Limit - 4 (3+1) mins for prelims and 6 (5+1) mins for first round of Finals.
Judgment - Solely on the vocal capabilities of the performer.
Accompaniments - Tabla, Harmonium, Congo, Guitar will be provided.
General Rules/Info - The competition will have two major rounds. The first one being the Elimination Round and the second round which will have a first general round with the second one being the Judges' Choice Round. No. of participants in final round will be upon organizers' discretion.
Maximum Participation - 3 from a single college/institute.
