Symphony - Western Music
Chords - Group Vocals/Choir Competition
Criterion - The composition can be in any Western language.
Time Limit - 7 (5+2) mins.
Judgment - On the co-ordination between the vocalists of the group, composition chosen and the performance as a whole.
Accompaniments - Drums, Congo, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar will be provided.
General Rules/Info - The performance should have at least 4 vocalists and at most 4 instrumental accompanists.
Maximum Participation - 2 groups from a single college/institute. The entries cannot have any common participant.
Unplugged-Western Acoustic Band Competition
Criterion - The composition can be from any Western Language or can be a purely instrumental one. A self composed piece will be appreciated.
Time Limit - 15 (12+3) mins.
Judgment - On the composition chosen/made and the performance as a whole.
Accompaniments - Drums, Congo, Bass Guitar and one Acoustic Guitar will be provided. Electric Guitar (also distortion and other processing units/synthetic musical add-ons) are not allowed. Synthesizers with only the grand piano patch are allowed.

Arson-Western Band Competition
Criterion - The composition can be from any Western Language or can be a purely instrumental one. A self composed piece will be appreciated. All genres like rock/ jazz/ blues/alternative/ progressive/ psychedelic/ funk etc are allowed.
